“Great campsite. The lodges are yet to have toilets put in but the communal bathrooms were fine. Patrick was such a great host and he had a lovely bar to get cold drinks from. Would go back.”

“A lovely site with beautiful views. The only noise at night other than a distant rumble from a train (not a problem at all) was the sound of owls and bats. The park and the bouncy castle was great for my 5 year old and Patrick couldn't do more to make you feel welcome. The inside space was great, especially as it was raining when we arrived and we didn't want to pitch out tent in the rain.”

“What a secret hidden gem nestled under the Westbury White Horse hills. Such a lovely rural location. We were warmly welcomed by owner Patrick and Mag who could not do enough to make our stay comfortable . Nothing was too much trouble . We have travelled to many campsites but Country View camp site is very special because it has such a relaxed atmosphere, and was so welcoming, and we met several campers who are regular visitors. The campsite is clean and very well equipped. Mag was constantly running round making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We stayed in the spacious Lodge , which has a small enclosed garden… perfect for our dogs and to enjoy the beautiful countryside views. You can choose to either cook for yourself or be treated to meals in their ‘Goat ‘ cafe , from breakfast to evening meals . There is a well equipped bar too, board games, a free pool table , a bouncy castle and a great play park just perfect for entertaining the children . Patrick listens to your suggestions and constantly makes changes to make your stay as good as possible . We returned home feeling relaxed and spoilt ! All credit to the wonderful staff We will definitely be returning”
